AQUAPHOR XLP11-4021 Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element: Highly Efficient Purification at Extremely Low Pressure
The AQUAPHOR XLP11-4021 membrane element from the XLP (eXtra Low Pressure) series is a modern water purification solution created using an aromatic polyamide composite. It provides exceptional performance and selectivity at an extremely low operating pressure.
Purpose and Advantages
The XLP11-4021 membrane effectively desalinates surface, ground, and tap water with a salt content up to 2,000 ppm. Thanks to its technology, it is perfectly suited for producing high-purity water used in the following industries:
- Electronics and Power Generation: For the production of ultrapure water.
- Food and Beverage: For preparing beverages and providing clean water for technological needs.
- Industrial Processes: For boiler feed water and other systems.
- Two-Stage Reverse Osmosis Systems: As the second stage of desalination.
Key Characteristics
- High Performance: The average permeate flow of the element is 3.78 m³ per day (1000 GPD), which guarantees a stable flow of purified water.
- Effective Impurity Removal: The membrane provides a stable salt rejection rate of 98.0%. It also effectively removes organic substances and silicon dioxide (SiO2).
- Operation at Extremely Low Pressure: Thanks to XLP technology, the membrane operates at a pressure approximately twice as low as standard low-pressure elements. This allows you to significantly reduce operating costs and investment in pumping equipment.
- Durable Construction: The element features a housing made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, ensuring durability and resistance to an operating pressure of up to 4.14 MPa (600 psi).
