AQUAPHOR AP-UF 10000 is a high-performance modular ultrafiltration station designed to provide consistently sterile and ultrapure water in industrial and commercial settings. Ultrafiltration: Tenfold Superiority in Purification
To ensure impeccable water quality, the AP-UF 10000 uses membrane technology, which provides a fundamentally higher degree of purification compared to microfiltration (MF):
Microfiltration (MF), used for coarse purification, retains particles sized 0.1 µm and larger.
Ultrafiltration (UF) in the AP-UF 10000 system uses membranes with pores of 0.01–0.02 microns.
Thanks to this difference, the UF system provides purification on a scale nearly 10 times greater than the capabilities of MF. This makes it an absolute barrier to:
- Bacteria (99.9999%) and viruses (99.99%), ensuring complete disinfection.
- The finest colloidal particles and suspended solids.
The system allows for the production of water that is completely free from microbial contamination, while preserving the natural mineral and salt composition without the use of chemical biocides.
