Ultrafiltration: Water that is Nearly 10 Times Cleaner!

To ensure impeccable water quality, the AP-UF 5000 uses membrane technology that provides a fundamentally higher degree of purification compared to microfiltration (MF), which is critical for sterility:

• Microfiltration (MF), typically used for coarse filtration, retains particles {0.1 µm} and larger.
• Ultrafiltration (UF) in the AP-UF 5000 system uses membranes with a pore size of 0.01–0.02 microns.
• Due to this difference in pore size, the UF system delivers water that is nearly 10 times cleaner at the level of fine particles, creating an absolute barrier against:
  • Bacteria (99.9999%) and viruses (99.99%), ensuring complete disinfection.
  • Fine colloidal particles and suspended solids.

The system allows you to obtain water that is completely free of microbial contamination, while preserving the natural mineral and salt composition without the use of chemical bactericides.
