The Aquaforce BigBlue BB10 housing is compatible with any standard Bigblue 10″ cartridges, making it a versatile and economical solution in the long run. The red pressure release button simplifies the cartridge replacement process, making it quick and clean.
Housing Functions
The filter housing performs key functions for high-quality water purification:
- Pre-filtration: You can install a standard mechanical Bigblue 10″ cartridge (polypropylene, string-wound, or paper) to effectively remove mechanical impurities like sand, dirt, and suspended particles.
- Post-filtration: For deeper purification and improved water quality, you can use a Bigblue 10″ carbon cartridge, which effectively removes chlorine and foreign odors.
What’s Included in the Kit?
The package includes everything necessary for installation and maintenance:
- BigBlue 10″ filter housing (in blue).
- A cap with a 1″ BSP threaded inlet and outlet.
- A convenient housing wrench.
- A reliable metal bracket.
- Four stainless steel screws (SR-600).
Important: The mechanical cartridge, as well as wall plugs and screws for wall mounting, are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately.
