General Description

The Aquaphor Viking midi filter housing is a highly durable and reliable housing for a main-line water purification system, designed for installation in apartments, homes, and businesses. It serves as the base for interchangeable filter cartridges (such as the B series), allowing for the effective purification of all incoming water, both cold and hot.

How It Works

The Viking housing is installed directly into the water supply pipe. It consists of a durable metal flask that holds a replaceable filter module. Water enters the housing, flows through the cartridge, is purified of contaminants, and then exits, clean, into the building's water supply system.

The unique design of the housing ensures high performance and exceptional reliability:

• Flow Direction: Water moves "from bottom to top." This design allows for the most efficient use of the cartridge's lifespan, as contaminants are evenly distributed across its entire surface rather than concentrated in one spot.
• High Filtration Speed: Thanks to the large surface area of the filter element, a cartridge in the Viking housing can purify water at a rate of up to 25 liters per minute, making it suitable for even the most demanding conditions.
