Application

The PM/5 switch is used to operate water pumps in automatic mode. It works in conjunction with a pressure tank: it automatically starts the pump when the system pressure drops to the lower threshold and stops it when the set upper limit is reached.

Installation and Adjustment

The switch is equipped with normally closed contacts. Adjustment is performed using two springs: the large spring regulates both the cut-in and cut-out pressure simultaneously, while the small spring regulates only the cut-out pressure (differential).
